CupcakeCamp Columbus
Yesterday I volunteered at the third annual CupcakeCamp Columbus. An unequivocal celebration of everyone’s favorite sweet and small confection, it was held upstairs at the North Market. The ensuing cupcake competition featured 33 local bakers, 16 judges, and a sea of scrumptious petite masterpieces. Tragically, my task was to cut the cupcakes in quarters so that everyone in attendance could sample as many different flavors as possible. Which means that I was a cupcake murderer, and that the delightful bakers who spent gobs of time crafting their little wondertreats had someone who can barely handle Betty Crocker brownies slice them to bits.
