Idea Foundry Power Tool Races
You don’t see a lot of power saws and belt sanders converted into scorpions and Miss Piggies. But anything goes at the Columbus Idea Foundry’s annual Power Tool Drag Races, which took place today outside of the Foundry’s 20,000 square-foot industrial space. An open house was held in tandem with the tool races, which featured welding, metal casting, and laser cutting demonstrations. We’re so lucky to have a place like this in our backyard, where dreams are literally fabricated into life by way of collaboration and creativity. The Foundry offers hands-on classes in wood lathing, rubber mold making, blacksmithing, and bronze casting. Click here for more photos.
