Positano

Honeymooning in Italy and France was as good as it gets. My favorite part about traveling is learning more about myself than I would at home, and the built-in celebratory nature of our honeymoon made the experience even more profound.

Our first stop was the historic, cliff-laden town of Positano on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. We feasted on bright green olives, pasta, bread, seafood, wine, pizza, gelato, and limoncello made with lemons from nearby trees. I highly recommend this diet. Highlights of our Positano sojourn included our Old World hotel, the best buffalo mozzarella cheese in existence, live gypsy music courtesy of Ukranian street musician Basilio Momako, and seeing Pierce Brosnan on the side of the road filming a movie. During our time at the Amalfi Coast, we took ferries to the glitzy Island of Capri and the serene village of Sorrento.
